Geometry of face.

When I was a little kid, I had an exceptionally round face. A parent of a friend even started calling me "circleface" (which I hated, because really, how is that even a nickname?).

Lately, though, I've noticed that my face has grown into a more rectangular shape. This potential for change excites me! Maybe it means that when I'm old, my face will be a triangle or a square or a parallelogram.

Are you sick of Clarice yet?
I hope not, because I have so much more in store for you!

a test to see if i could handle animating clarice's voluptuous body.

Je suis la fille a la suzuki!

I finally changed my blog's layout after about a year and a half of that dark grey & retina-melting pink palette! Here's an even larger version of my new blog header, in case you're interested. The poses were based on this image of 60s dance moves.

And look, another self-portrait. I will probably die someday under a collapsed pile of self-portraits, killed by the very thing I hoarded narcissistically since the days of my youth.

In other news, I've been listening to April March on repeat for many days! She sings in French, and also worked as an animator on Ren & Stimpy!! How much more perfect can one person be?

Today at work,

1. I lost my earring.
2. I chewed gum.
3. I drew these pictures.

PS. I'm gonna animate on paper this year. Can't say no to that authentic graphite-smudgy goodness~
